Ingredients

Italian sausage (or diced ham or bacon pieces)
1⅔ slices
sourdough bread
3⅓
eggs

diced green chilis
½ cups
milk
½ cups
shredded cheddar cheese
  • Step 1/4

    • 1⅔ slices sourdough bread

    First, preheat oven to 325F. Cut off bread crusts and butter bread on both sides. Place flat covering the bottom of the dish.

  • Step 2/4

    • lb Italian sausage (or diced ham or bacon pieces)
    • 3⅓ eggs
    • cup diced green chilis
    • ½ cups milk

    Sprinkle the meat and diced green chilis. Beat the eggs and milk together and pour that on top.

  • Step 3/4

    • ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

    Sprinkle the shredded cheese, and let the whole thing stand for about 30 minutes.

  • Step 4/4

    Bake at 325 F for 45 minutes or until set.
