"This recipe has been updated to improve your cooking experience (January 2024). Nothing beats a hot dish of scalloped potatoes! It works beautifully as a side for a holiday feast, or equally as a cozy midweek dinner. Our recipe is super simple and sure to succeed! The potatoes are thinly sliced and bathed in a rich and creamy sauce for ultimate indulgence. And the best thing is that you can prepare it in advance and simply reheat when it’s time to serve."

FAQ

To achieve a crispy top layer on your scalloped potatoes, make sure to bake them in a preheated oven at a higher temperature (around 375°F or 190°C) for around 45—50 minutes. This helps to crisp up the top layer and create a golden crust on top of the creamy potato layers.
