Tomato salad with basil vinaigrette

- ½ red onion
 - 90 ml olive oil
 - 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
 - ½ clove garlic
 - ¼ tsp habanero salt
 - 15 g fresh basil
 - salt

 - cutting board
 - knife
 
Roughly chop red onion. For the dressing, purée olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, habanero salt, chopped onion, and basil in a blender until smooth. If desired, season to taste with salt.

- 4½ mixed tomatoes
 - 25 g mixed lettuce greens
 - edible flowers for serving
 
- colander
 
Slice tomatoes. Spread the lettuce greens and tomatoes on a plate, sprinkle with the basil vinaigrette and flower petals. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
